The TDA Foundation believes in the power of diaspora communities. We believe we must create the spaces we wish existed, and that requires providing deep support to diaspora communities and networks across the country.
We connect, support, and invest in diaspora communities shaping outcomes where they live. Communities build real strength inside their own circles, and those circles rarely reach each other. We work across them, so communities find each other, grow their voice together, and tell their own story.
Migration: A Shared Experience
Many Generations, One Community
Immigrants, the second generation, and the multi-generational descendants of immigrants and migrants all carry the diaspora forward. Migration is a universal human experience, and it touches all of us.
Discovering our power as a community requires that we see each other's migration stories as part of the human journey we share. The diaspora experience preserves and amplifies shared heritage, narratives, histories, and experiences, and it calls each of us to build community wherever we are.

The diaspora experience reaches families in every part of the world, and diaspora networks turn that shared experience into power. Knowledge, opportunity, and capital move through them every day.
